The Ortonia SacroFix pelvic and lumbar orthosis is recommended for use to stabilize the sacroiliac joints and the pelvic ring. This orthosis will help reduce pain in the pelvic area and lower back.

Ortonia SacroFix consists of two main parts:

  1. A rigid part that provides stabilization of the pelvis.
  2. The elastic part creates a massage effect that is activated by movement, stimulating proprio- and mechanoreceptors, and also improves blood circulation.

The brace fits over the pelvis under the iliac crests, which distinguishes it from standard back belts that fit around the lower back. This position of the orthosis is important for effective treatment, as it tightens the pelvis, stabilizing it and relieving the sacroiliac joints and the symphysis between the pubic bones. This helps reduce the load on these formations and reduce pain.

The brace also features two massage pads located on the back that target trigger points in the back of the pelvis. These pads stimulate ligaments and muscles and improve blood circulation, which helps reduce inflammation and pain.

Ortonia SacroFix is recommended for the following conditions:

  • Sacroiliac joint syndrome.
  • Osteoarthritis of the sacroiliac joint.
  • Instability of the sacroiliac joint and pelvic ring.
  • Stretching or rupture of the symphysis.
  • Block of the sacroiliac joint.
  • Back pain caused by prolonged sitting or standing.
  • Myalgia and tendinopathy in the pelvic area.
  • Postoperative recovery after spinal fusion of the lumbar spine.
  • Maintaining pelvic stability for daily activities.

Contraindications include venous circulation disorders, lymphatic outflow disorders, edema, as well as individual intolerance to orthosis materials.

For maximum efficiency and comfort of use, the Ortonia SacroFix orthosis must be carefully selected in size.
To determine the size, measure according to the picture. The pelvic circumference is measured at the level of the iliac crest.

If you have any of the following symptoms, use the product only after consulting your doctor:
